South-of-the-border Burger

South-of-the-border Burger

Here is a fun way to enjoy a juicy grass-fed burger,

much cheaper than you’d pay at a nice restaurant!

The unique flavors are really complimentary with a burger.

I hope you enjoy this fun take on the typical burger!

2 lbs full fat ground beef

Large handful chopped fresh parsley/cilantro

dash of cayenne pepper

1 can of chopped chiles

1 egg

1.5 t real salt and pepper

2 t cumin, 1.5 T chili powder

TOPPINGS: avocado/guacamole, salsa, Monterrey jack cheese

  1. In a large bowl add all ingredients and mix and mash together.
  2. Form into medium size patties. (makes 8-10 burgers)
  3. Grill to liking, putting cheese on towards the end.

Serve wrapped in large leaf lettuce, over sautéed large zucchini or bun of choice.
